Hi There, I’m Kelli

I have always had a need to help others. From a very early age I knew exactly what I wanted to do. I had a calling to become a healer at the age of 3. I wanted to be a nurse. 

In 2007 I graduated from Indiana University Southeast with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. From there I worked at Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville, KY for 8 years working between the pediatric and neonatal ICU and the ER. In 2011, I worked for 2 years for the University of Louisville in pediatric research, that is when I decided to go back to school, simply because I could get some free credits. A few credits turned into me going back to become a family nurse practitioner. Coming into my last year of my master’s program my husband, Jason, and I decided that we also wanted to start a family. The next few years went by rather quickly, moving to my family’s farm, building our forever home, starting a new career in family practice and presently in pediatrics. After 5 years of trying to conceive we were directed towards IVF after multiple trials of medications and procedures. We had a successful first round of IVF which ended in a pregnancy and ultimately our little miracle 4 year old, Jackson.  Since our love has grown 2 fold!  We now have our 8 month old son Sullivan. 

It sounds like it is a perfectly packaged end result when you fast forward, but in those 5 years there were some long days. Lots of tears, frustrations, anxiety, hopelessness. I did not feel in control of my life, so I dove into yoga when I did not know what else to do. Yoga and meditation helped me tremendously through the entire IVF process, pregnancy, and even now as a momma with a toddler and a baby. It is a sacred space for me when I need something still and steady.
